About the job
In this role you lead the quality direction work for the Transport Category Area. You lead the quality development work with focus to secure execution in line with category area plans. The aim is to secure everyday product quality and compliance to meet IKEA goals.
Your main assignments as Quality Leader are:
Together with Category Area Manager and Quality Manager define category area quality agenda based on quality direction and lead it’s execution through the business development teams.
Responsible to develop and implement business quality leadership competences in the category area and at our service providers to secure consistency in our quality development.
Support the business development team to implement quality assurance and compliance agenda at service providers and create pre-conditions for them to take full responsibility for their quality performance.
Follow up timely execution of quality deviation and support business development teams for the settlement of complex cases.
Lead, coach & support the competence development for quality.
- Support in analysing customer feedback and development of project/actions to improve customer satisfaction
About you
To be successful in this role you have
- Excellent knowledge of the value chain related to distristribution and the logistic flow
- Excellent communication skills the ability to build longterm trustful relationships
- Ability to deliver results through involving, leading, developing and inspiring people in a remote environment – act as manager, coach and mentor
- Ability to lead business with a holistic and analytical view, always act with the Customer, Service Provider, total IKEA and Quality in mind
- Good knowledge of Quality processes, tools and working methods/instructions
- Very good understanding of how your everyday work adds customer value
